The district administration offered a project-a school for ex-inmates-in an interior village in Kanker. 2 lakh is granted to a team of 26 students. Ten of them went on to form the Shanta Self Help Group, which makes the art work for sale.All these students were granted education in jail so that they can become true human beings in future and get rid of such criminal activities and lead a healthy living.
