Around 12,281 students from 34 government schools in Telangana are to benefit from the Support My School Campaign which was launched by Coca-Cola-NDTV. As a part of the initiative, cricket star and Brand Ambassador Sourav Ganguly, Bollywood Actor Ranveer Singh and President Coca-Cola-India and South West Asia Venkatesh Kini took part in a six hour Telethon with Vikram Chandra, Executive Director and CEO of NDTV Group to raise funds for the campaign. They raised 20 crore in the show which will help the campaign revitalize 1000 schools over 23 states, benefitting over 300,000 students all over India.
