Over 400 students from 37 colleges and 14 schools in and around Chennai took part in the ‘Gurushiksha’ competition which was organised by Guru Nanak College. The valedictory function was held on 9th January. The speech competition was held in Tamil, English and Hindi separately for school and college students. The prizes were awarded in each category. The first prize was worth Rs. 10000; second prize Rs. 5000 and the third prize Rs. 3000.
