800 people turn out for marathon hosted by the GG International School

As many as 800 students, parents and grandparents participated in the fourth marathon run hosted by the GG International School on the theme, ‘Think, Eat, Save’.
The participants contributed towards a social initiative by displaying placards with social messages. The marathon was flagged off by fitness enthusiast Yogesh Bahl. The students of standard IV to VI and their grandparents covered a distance of 3km, while students of Grade VII to XII and their parents covered a distance of 5km.
In the welcome address, Principal Bharti Bhagwani expressed pleasure at the huge turnout in support of the initiative. A special guest on the occasion was Narayan Mahajan, a 95-year-old trekking enthusiast and a four-time record holder as the oldest parasailer in the Limca Book of Records.
