Around 12% Junior colleges in the state bagged a cent percent result in HSC this year. All HSC students in 959 of 7915 junior colleges cleared the exam. In Mumbai, 128 Junior colleges managed to achieve a perfect 100%. Last year, around 109 junior colleges scored 100% results in the division. The numbers sre seen to rise since the time when boards introduced orals even in language papers.
All 1400 candidates who had appeared from six PACE Junior Science Colleges cleared the examination with 245 students scoring above 90%. Junior colleges attached to schools such as St Francis D’Assisi High School and Junior College, Borivili, Shubhamraje Junior College in Thane, Father Nagel Junior College and St. Mary’s High School in Vashi are some of the junior colleges under Mumbai division to hit the 100% score.
