Schools are seen to organize campaigns for a cleaner city. Girls of The Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society School painted a wall of The Bhawanipur Education Society Collegewhile students of St. Xavier’s Collegiate School collected garbage on Short Street during a weekend morning. They were a part of the clean-up drive organised by Wakeupkid that found 225 students from nine schools who hit the street with brooms, paint and the spirit to clean the city. Each school was represented by 25 students who cleaned a designated lane near their school and painted their wall with a slogan ‘Wake Up’ to create awareness among the city people.
While La Martiniere Boys and Girls took part of Lower Rawdon Street, Don Bosco Park Circuscleaned up Orient Row near Park Circus Maidan.
