Such educators will be working with children with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and developmental disabilities such as autism, mental retardation, cerebral palsy and specific learning disabilities. A special educator will be able to work in gifted and talented children as they can understand their behaviour very well. The decision has been taken in accordance with the recommendations and approval of the curriculum committee of the CBSE.
