Army Public School Ballygunge held a two days annual concert and prize distribution ceremony with fun and colourful programme. On the first day, the Chief Guest, Major General Ashok Kumar, AVSM, Chief of Staff, Bengal Area, lit the inaugural lamp. Students welcomed the dignitaries by singing a classical song. The junior students then entertained the audience with a skit, Alice with Snow White. It was then followed by a performance by the school’s western band that played ‘Hava nagila’, an Israeli folk song and Greenday’s ‘Holiday’.
A symphony of various dance forms and period costumes dominated the stage as the senior students gracefully danced into various songs. The school principal then gave an overview of the year’s achievements.
