Vivekananda Mission School recently had its 37th Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony 2016 which turned out to be a grand success . The underlying message of the ceremony was loud and clear—Togetherness is the route to achieve success and happiness. The event was vibrant and colourful with singing dancing and drama performed by the students of the school . Around 80 students were awarded for excellence in both the academic and extra curricular field for the last academic year. The event was graced by several dignitaries of the school authority and was majorly attended by the proud parents of the students of the school.
According to the principal, Mrs Sarmistha Banerjee , the school ever since its advent from 1978 has been mentoring thousands of young minds and transforming them into knowledge seekers. She mentions that the road to achieve such a daunting objective was never easy, but is rewarding. The school is famous for its focus on overall children development unlike other schools with a uni-dimensional approach to the betterment of academics alone.
