National Gems Higher Secondary School organised its Annual Sports Day which began with a colourful walk by the toddlers of Upper Nursery and KG, dressed as flowers. The fancy dress competition featured students of Lower Nursery as Mother Teresa, Vivekananda, Spiderman, Lord Krishna, Santa Claus and more. Class I and II students took part in events such as Plant a Tree, Match the Picture and Swachh Bharat, held at Oxford Mission Ground in Behala. The wonderful drill display by the students of Class I-IV was greeted with huge cheers and applause from the audience. Boys of Class III participated in ‘Chulbul Pandey Runs a Race’ with a lot of enthusiasm. The event came to an end with Justice House lifting the overall champions’ trophy.
