The state education department has decided that the school’s average pass percentage of Class IX and X (SSC) will be calculated for the final results. Bhapkar said that modalities of the new system are being worked out by an expert committee, which will also suggest how the rule should be implemented as well as how each school’s class IX results can be registered with the state government. The state education department has also decided to monitor the enrolment of students in Class IX and X to arrive the average pass percentage in both the classes.
