Roshni Mukherjee wanted to complete her PhD and become a teacher, but after her father’s death she had to take up a job in an MNC. But she found a way to teach teens of thousands of schools for free. She launched a site ‘Examfear.com’ and posted video lessons for Classes 9-12 and her YouTube channel has more than 68,000 subscribers. She had shared around 3700 videos in the past four years, i.e. more than two video lessons were posted per day. She uploaded a video on You Tube explaining the concept of motion in Physics. Roshni used a microphone and a power point slide show to explain the concepts. Since there was good response, she started to make more video lessons. Bengaluru teacher’s YouTube School now has over 68,000 students across the country.
