The state recorded the best SSC result this year with both fresher and repeaters registering an overall success rate of 87.7%, a rise from the previous year which was 81.8%. Mumbai division, which comprises of Raigad and Thane registered a success rate of 86.1% which is 3% higher than the last year. Out of 17 lakh students who appeared for the examination, more than 15 lakh passed and around 48,583 scored more than 90%. The number of students listing the 90%+ club increased by 19%.
