Cambridge School, Srivinaspuri, hosted its annual inter-school garden competition. More than 15 schools of Delhi NCR took part in the competition. School Principal welcomed the Chief Guest and young nature lovers. The contest was held in three categories: ‘Garden Display’ on a theme-based garden for which Balvantray Mehta School secured the first position. The gardeners were awarded with cash prize. A quiz on garden plants was won by Tagore International School, East of Kailash. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan bagged the first prize in painting competition on ‘Seasonal Flowers of Delhi’. Nehru World School, Ghaziabad was awarded with the ‘School Excellence Award 2016’ for effectively and efficiently imparting quality education to the new generation and for its immense contribution to literacy in society for a progressive nation, by an education magazine. The school’s creative head received the award.
