CBSE 2016 Topper wants to pursue computer engineering. Tushar Baranwal, apparently the topper of science stream in Pune, scored 98.2% and plans to opt for computer engineering. He is a student of Army Public School, Baranwal and said that he was spellbound by ‘logical reasoning and computing.’ He added, “I was interested in logical reasoning from my school days. Hence my obvious interest in computer programming. It incorporates and builds itself on logical reasoning and conclusions. That was when I decided to pick computer engineering as my career path.”
Hence he took up Informatic Practices as an additional module in his higher secondary subject combination. And he took the well-known trio of physics, chemistry and mathematics.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) directed this module which aims to furnish students with a working knowledge of computer and peripherals and of programming and open source software development.
