Toppers celebrate their success by dancing after CBSE Class 10 Result 2016 was declared on Saturday afternoon. Dwani Ravi scored a perfect 10 CGPA in the CBSE Class 10 examinations. Her excitement knew no boundaries as she literally danced her way to the exam hall. She is a trained Bharathnatyam dancer and also had a solo performance two days before the examinations started.
Dwani, from NPS Koramangala, wishes to pursue medicine without letting her zeal fade away. The 16 year old exclaimed, “My fourth solo performance is in July and I’m looking forward to it!”
Another topper from NPS, Avni Gupta who is a Kathak dancer for six years is also busy preparing for her solo performance in July in Malleshwaram. Her mother, Babita Gupta said, “She is interested in sports too. We have never put pressure on her for anything.”
Many others bagged a perfect 10 CGPA score in the school. Out of 116 students, 41 scored 10 CGPA and made the school proud; 54 secured between 9.8 and 9 CGPA.
Shruti G Wagle, of Royal Concorde International School who topped the exam, finds dancing relaxing and a stress-buster. She said, “I’ve been attending dance classes for two years now. I didn’t miss them even during my study leave. I enjoy playing keyboard too. I wish to pursue engineering,“
Rekha Vinod, principal of Royal Concorde International School said: “Out of the 72 students, 13 scored 10 CGPA and three secured 9.8 CGPA. Another 20 students scored above 9.0 CGPA.”
