Ajay Dangi, Son of a class 3 employee who works as a hand-pump mechanic at the public health and engineering department, scored 95.6% in the CBSE Class XII Examination 2016 , with 99 marks each in mathematics and chemistry . Instead of `wasting’ time on checking his result, Ajay gave his roll number to a correspondent , confident that he would receive over 90% while he himself was busy preparing for IIT-JEE Advanced—his ultimate and final goal. Ajay is a student of Sagar Public School and though happy with his Board performance is not much enthusiastic about it. Instead he wants to do well in the IIT entrance to become an IIT engineer.
Ajay scored 98 in physical education and 99 each in mathematics and chemistry, with 87 in English and 95 in physics. His father was at Berasia when he heard his son’s excellent result in Board. Like father like son, Raghunath Singh Dangi, Ajay’s father was also calm at the news and could only muster a blessing for his son. He explained that though he himself dint manage to go to college himself, he is happy with his sons performance. Infact, a deeper search revealed that Ajay is the third son of Raghunath, and both his elder brothers were also good in academics and are now engineers. So good academic result and promising career seems to run in the Dangi family. However, Ajay’s school Principal was very optimistic about his caliber and blessed him all the best for his upcoming future.
