The Madras High Court rejected a PIL seeking postponement of the CBSE exams in view of the closure of schools for about a month due to heavy downpour and flood in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Cuddalore districts. Any postponement will have repercussions in terms of College admissions, which are to be as per schedule as candidates from all over the country will participate. A single postponement will affect the whole country.
