School children got a glimpse of the work that goes into a radio show as part of The Times of India’s Mumbai For Kids initiative. Around 60 children visited the studios of Radio Mirchi FM station in Lower Parel over two days and gained insights into the world of the radio industry and how a radio station functions.
The first session kicked off with lessons on how radio works, its reach and its usefulness. The children next went into the production room where they saw how a radio show is packaged and how a production console works. The children had a lot to learn from the session.
