The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will be accepting forms of those appearing or the class X and class XII exam 2016 externally till December 31.
According to a circular from state board secretary, the last date to submit the applications with the late fees is December 31, after which forms will not be accepted.
The circular as mentioned that all schools and junior colleges should take a note of the date extension and inform students.
An official from the Kolhapur divisional board said that they have received 2,100 forms for the SSC and 3,000 forms for HSC exams from Sangi, Satara and Kolhapur districts.
The official said that form 17 is to enable private students to appear for the HSCSSC exam. They can apply through form 17 and submit them through schools specified by the board.
Students who have cleared class IV and have completed 14 years, are eligible to apply through form 17 for the HSCSSC exam externally.
