Ghosh, a renowned journalist and author was extremely impressed by the response of these youngsters, because according to him, they are way ahead of their age group in maturity.
The event had a few fun activities such as the one where the children were asked to expand a four liner into a one page story. A few spooky, romantic and hilarious writing put up the event with a good mix of writing. Ghosh went so far as to claim that he is optimistic about a few of them at least to thrive into a great author someday if they keep their creative writing alive in them. Unlike the routine followed by professionals where they keep on polishing their writing , looking for grammar mistakes and flaws as a reader, this experience is a bit different, he said.
At another event hosted by TOI, the kids were allowed to interact with the famous guitarist from Krosswindz, Vikramjit Bannerjee. There were 15 kids at the ICCR, the venue of the Guitar Workshop event, where they learnt from the pros about strumming, chords and other musical jargons.
