‘Soda lemon ginger pop, South Point on the top’, ‘B-O-S-C-O, Bosco Bosco’; these and many more slogans kept the Kund Area of Salt Lake City Centre alive as students from across the city schools cheered for their friends during the three day prelims of Dabur Red Paste TTIS Challenge 2016, in association with City Centre Salt Lake. Participants from across various city schools gave their best to make it to the finals. From Instrumental Jugal-Bandi to Unconventional Orchestra, from Eastern Solo to X Factor, from Fusion Band to Fusion Dance and Fashion Parade, the prelims was a creative journey. Amar Das, a Class VIII student of Manicktala High School, hip-hopped his way into the final round of B-boying and bagged the trophy. The Tug of War girls’ competition was won by the students of Kalyani Public School. The prelims ended on a musical note with a performance by Fingerprints, a city-based band.
