13-year old Rakesh Patel did not think twice before plunging into an abandoned well infested with stinking vegetation and poisonous insects to save a six-year old boy who fell into it. Rakesh lives in Suthar Falia, near Ruvabari village of Dahod district, and has been selected for the national bravery award. He will be felicitated for the bravado ahead of the Republic Day in the coming year. He will also get a chance to participate in the parade along with other brave children like him.
