Vidhi Maheshwari did not just beat her peers across India in Class XII CBSE examination, she had beaten her disability. Vidhi was diagnosed with task-specific dystonia on her right hand two years ago, a condition which causes excessive muscle contractions disabling her to undertake certain motor activities like writing. With such a chronic disability Vidhi was able to bag a 100 in accountancy, 99 in economics, 99 in business studies, 98 in mathematics and 94 in English scoring a grand total of 490 out of 500; making her the highest scorer in India in the differently abled category.
