The pass percentage of differently abled students improved from 89.32 last year to 91.35 this year. Disabled students in the state posted a significant improvement in the Higher Secondary (XII) examinations. The pass percentage ofhearing-impaired students raised from 77.14% to 86.46%. The pass percentage of visually-impaired students recorded 93.16%. The qualitative change in such students were mainly due to technological advancement. Students suffering from sickle-cell anaemia and thalassaemia were given an additional 20 minutes for every hour and a writer if they wanted.
