It is finally time to embrace the advent of smart classroom also termed as ‘E-classrooms’. The government in a recent declaration has provided to introduce “virtual classrooms” or E-Classrooms for schools with the following facilities:
- High Speed Internet Facilities in schools as well as in colleges and universities
- High end Computer capable of live-streaming
- Presence of Projection facility aided with an audio system for accessing education material
This is done so that students can access education materials both within and outside the country. Education Minister Partha Chatterjee when enquired about the new policy, said that it is essential to introduce E-classrooms to assist students in embracing a new and refined teaching methodology, aligned to international standards.
