Events at various city schools:
- Children’s Carnival: National Gems Higher Secondary School hosted a colourful carnival for students as a part of its Children’s Day celebrations. The event constituted of music and students took part in games such as Hit the Tin, Arabian Nights, Ring the Teddy, 7 up 7 down and others and also grooved to music composed by a student of Class XII.
- Exhibition: Students of the Calcutta Anglo Gujarati School hosted their annual exhibition with much enthusiasm and fanfare. The exhibition was themed on the subjects of the curriculum. While the pre-primary and primary section put on show models themed on Gujarati, Hindi, English, Mathematics and EVS, senior students set up experiments and models on physical science, life science, history, geography, EVS and work education.
- Annual Day: The Aryan School, Khardah, celebrated its annual day with music, dance and loads of fun. A Korean dance staged by students of classes V to XII set the tone for the evening. Students of the Primary section staged a dance drama titled Tale of River Ganga.
