The father-son coach-player duo of Noor Mohammad and Mohammad Faiz ensured St. Joseph’s beat Pawar Public School at 51-04 to enter the quarter finals of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) boys U-13 inter-school basketball tournament at Azad Maidan. Faiz emerged with a fine shoe scoring 20 points even as his father egged on the team from the side-lines. His father has played the sport at the junior national level and has been coaching the school team for the last 18 years.
