Sivaganga Government School is the first government school in the state to have its own website. The website http:www.rmhschool.com was launched by Karaikudi municipality chairperson Karpagam Ilango. The school was opened as a primary school in the year 1939 by Ramanathan Chettiar High School. It was upgraded as a middle school in the year 2002 and became a high school in the year 2013. The first batch of students appeared for SSLC examinations in the year 2015. The School Master A Peter Raja exclaimed that with the launch of the school website, there has been a huge increase in the student strength.
