The state government is contemplating to provide egg for state government and aided school children. A proposal regarding this is before the state primary and secondary education which will soon be placed before the Chief Minister. The officials of the mid-day meal scheme have submitted a proposal following the communication from the state government. Eggs will be provided to make the mid-day meal more nutritious. Along with this, children are also getting milk on alternate days.
