The best proposals, around 1 lakh, will be selected for creating prototypes by children (class VI to XII) with help from the department, DST secretary Ashotosh Sharma.Workshops will be held and select prototypes displayed at district and state levels under the Rs 200-crore project. The final 100 prototypes will be displayed at a national innovation festival. The government will also reach out to ITIs to create innovation ecosystems.
