A Health Check-Up Camp was organized at Barasat on 14th May, 2016 by The Interact Club of The Heritage School. Tests such as Free Eye Testing, Blood Grouping and Diabetes Testing were conducted by reputed doctors from Rotary Club. The event was headed by the president of the Interact Club, Mr Vatsal Jain, a Class-XII student of the school. His team consisted of 10 volunteers and 6 doctors who conducted the event smoothly.
According to Vatsal, he feels that as students and youth of the country it is their duty to be responsible towards the well being of the society. He further explained his future plans of conducting a few more drives of similar kinds. The event was a great success and portrays a great deal of maturity from the side of the teenagers which is a great sign and hopefully in the coming years several schools will chip in to contribute in the same way.
