Abdul Kadir Khimani, Twinkle Star English High School, Palghar
Abdul scored 97.8% in his boards bagging the first position. He started to prepare for his examination from 2014 and his first target was difficult topics. He used to complete one chapter per day and keep aside an hour so that he could practice maths. He used to prepare notes and solve previous year’s question papers. He did not have to face much load before the exams and would revise his studies. He aspires to pursue mechanical engineering from IIT.
Sanjana Bharadwaj, SIES School, Matunga
Sanjana scored 97.2% in her board exams and bagged the second position in Mumbai division. She prepared a timetable for herself and would work according to that. She used to solve previous year’s questions and focus on their presentation. She did not stress herself by studying the whole day. She used to devote time for extra-curricular activities so that a balance could be maintained. Sanjana plans to pursue astronomy and join ISRO one day.
Shreeda Prabhu, IES Manik Vidyamandir, Bandra
Shreeda scored 97.2% and secured the third position in Mumbai division. He said that not just his teachers, but also his parents were great inspiration for him. His school ensured individual attention and guided the students really well. He was a little laid back at the beginning, but began to study sincerely from mid-October. He even adds that hobbies are excellent aid to release stress, so he used to involve in co-curricular activities in-between his studies to maintain a balance.
Adith Daftary, Balmohan Vidyamandir, Dadar
Also scored 97.2% and achieved the third position in Mumbai Division. She started to prepare herself right from the beginning but did rigorous practice only in the last few months. She used to maintain a balance by involving herself in extra-curricular activities like badminton. She used to play an hour after completing every paper. This helped her to reduce stress and focus more into her studies. She aspires to become a Fashion Designer and wishes to appear for the NIFT entrance examination.
Yash Salgaonkar, Balmohan Vidyamandir, Dadar
By scoring 97% in board exams, Yash was declared fourth in Mumbai division. He never used to study late night and prepare for his board examinations. He found his subjects very easy expect language papers. He loves playing football and even used to play during his exams. He aspires to become an engineer and had already started his preparations.
