Higher Secondary examinations commences from today. This year the board has regulated strict rules to combat cheating in examination halls. Students will not be allowed to copy and take chits and mobile phones along with them. More than 8 lakh students will be appearing for the examination this year. There will be complete ban on the use of microphones around the examination centres. There will also be a ban on the use of mobiles by the examinees as well as the invigilators. Mobile phones have to be submitted to the authorities before the start of examination. Only the centre in charge will be able to use cell-phone. Photocopy centres around examination centres will also be monitored and closed down during the examination.
