Officials of schools affiliated to CISCE have a reason to rejoice. From its inception, 50years back, the board has decided to come up with a framed syllabus which has to be taught from Classes I-VIII from the 2017 academic session. The syllabus will be formulated by the council in consultation with the heads of all institutions affiliated to it. The CISCE will develop a basic syllabus framework based on the guidelines by a committee which will be setup soon. The syllabus will then be followed by all schools affiliated to the council. The council wants to bring parity among the national boards.
