Recently, the Hindmotor High School hosted a debate competition which saw 6 schools participate in the event. A much awaited Inter School Competition 2016, the event saw schools such as Methodist School (Dankuni), Little Flower School (Uttarpara) etc, take part in the event. The motion of the house was –“Is competition necessary for the learning process?” The event was paralleled by another debate competition in Hindi, held at the same school on the same day. While the host school bagged third prize in the English Debate, it fared better in the Hindi debate with second position finish.
