Students of Jatragachi Pranavananda Vidyalaya, North 24 Parganas defeated St James School in the first round of the Junior Boys fours event at Lake Club on Monday in the Inter School Competition 2016 for the 44th KC Mahindra Invitation School Regatta, thereby making a mark for themselves and their district. The Jatragachi boys finished the 500 m race in 2:40.46. In the senior boys category Future Hope edged past last years champions St. Lawrence by two seconds.
The Results of the Senior Boys competitions are:
- Jadavpur NK Pal School (2:10.24) defeated St. Xaviers (2:16.56)
- Khalsa High School (2:10.98) defeated St John High School(3:2.30)
- La Martiniere for Boys(1:53.30) defeated St. Helen School (2:4.45)
The Results of the Senior Girls competitions are:
- La Martiniere for Girls (2:15.24) defeated St. Thomas Girls (3:11.44).
The Results of the Junior Boys competitions are:
- Future Hope B (2:7.29) defeated Future Hope A (2:22.51)
- MP Birla Foundation (2:15.10) defeated Dhakuria Ram Chandra (3:20.37)
- Silver Point School A (2:41.97 defeated Dolna Day (3:18.91).
The Results of the Junior Girls competitions are:
- Modern High for Girls (2:34.1) defeated St.Thomas Girls school (3:47.17)
- South Point High school (2:35.49) defeated Silver Point School (2:41.18)
