The Inter School Competition 2016-The Keventer Cup, organized by the Debanjan Sen Foundation, on Wednesday, witnessed a complete dominance by Julien Day Kalyani over their Elgin Road counterpart with the latter losing to the former 7-1. Saaron Bhattacharya displayed a fantastic performance on the pitch, managing to net the ball thrice in the match whereas Shyam Sunder Ghosh netted a couple and Sudipta Chakroborty and Shubham Bhattacharjee scored a goal each. The only goal from the losing side came from the foot of Faizal Ahmed.
In another match, Albany Hall was restricted by La Martiniere Boy’s in a 1-1 draw, while Cambridge International defeated Future Foundation 3-2. A few of the other fixtures along with their respective outcomes are listed below:
