Inter School Competition 2016-The Keventer Cup, organized by the Debanjan Sen Foundation, on Friday, saw the Don Bosco Park Circus team register an easy win over the Garden High School in a pretty one sided match that ended 4-0. The goal scorers with a goal each for the match were Mohammad Hateem, Harsh Dung Dung, Dion Greenway and Navonil Seth.
In the other match of the day, it was St. James School who emerged as the winners, defeating Patha Bhavan 3-0. Anirudh Ghosh scored two of those goals and Kiyan Nassiri with the other goal to his name. Also, Harjit Signh with his two goals and Amir Yazdani with a goal to his name, sealed an easy victory for DPS Newtown over the Cambridge International in a match that ended in 3-0. Three matches- one between Apeejay School Salt Lake and Army Public School, and between Gems Akademia and Calcutta International and Welland Gouldsmith and Garden High School got washed out due to the rain.
