The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has decided to keep the date of the ISC political science examination unchanged. The examination will be held on 4th April, when constituencies in the three districts of West Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura go to polls. Council sources claimed that only four students will be affected due to the date clashing with the first phase of assembly elections. The three districts have around eight schools from which ISC candidates are appearing in this years’ examination. Council sources also pointed out that necessary steps have been taken to ensure that no examination venue is taken over by the parliamentary forces before the ISC exams come to an end.
