Junior College cut-offs rose up to 5% for Arts in the first merit list

The popularity of Arts stream among students and high scorers are seen to become popular these days. Several city colleges has witnessed a 5% rise in the cut-off marks for Arts stream for admission to First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC). At Ruia College, cut-off for arts rose to 93% this year compared to 90.2% last year. St. Xavier’s College witnessed a rise of 93.8% from 93% in Arts stream. High scores in arts is also becoming tough for students to get their admissions done at top ranked colleges.
