RBK School Mira Road had taken a unique initiative by organising a Kite Festival event at its ground on 13th January 2016, where orphan children got opportunities to make friends with school children and enjoy kite flying with them. The event included around 150 children who engaged themselves in a kite flying celebrating the most colourful festival Makarsanskranti. The event was a memorial event for both the school and the orphanage children. The students of RBK School at Mira Road taught school kids to share the joy of colours of life with orphan children.
