Jyoti Patil lives in Dinderli village, about 15 km from Kolhapur. Barely two weeks prior to her SSC examinations, Jyoti was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, a medical condition that makes her heart work only 15% of its total capacity.Despite of her critical condition, she decided to appear for the examination and she successfully passed with 66%.
