Future of thousands of children studying in zilla parishad schools in Maan and Hinjewadi villages is moulded with a different outlook. New teaching methodologies followed by technologies and the use of internet is helping students to learn better and explore their ideas. Apsara Bagwan, a Class VIII student in Hinjewadi’s zilla parishad primary school, aspires to be a district collector in her future. Her ambition was charged-up in a ‘global classroom’ where an expert guided the students on the importance of interacting with fellow citizens, understand their problems and bring change to their lives.
