With the advent of several boards parents seem clueless at times when it comes to choosing the right board for their children. No matter the increasing popularity of the IB and IGSCE curriculum, parents cannot decide at the first go. Let’s have a brief idea on both IB and IGSCE boards.

International Baccalaureate (IB)
The IB programme is an internationally recognised school system that was founded by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) which is a non-profit educational organization based in Geneva. It focuses on the intellectual, emotional, personal and social skills development of students. The IB boards adopts a practical and an analytical approach while testing a child’s knowledge. Students here are encouraged to work on projects in group rather involving their parents. This helps them to think independently.

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)
IGCSE offers a wide range of options between core and extended papers in various subjects. The practical work and assignments allotted to students are aimed at enhancing their research skills and encourage them to delve deeper into topics. The schooling system helps them to develop a strong foundation for further education in India as well as abroad.
