A group of Bengaluru students planned to take Low-Cost initiative (sanitary napkins) to three villages near Sarjapur. The napkins was distributed by them to women in Kalahalli, Handenahalli, and Billapur in the month of August. Many women haven’t used sanitary napkins before. The little money they earn is spent to run their house and old cloth is what they use.
