Chinmaya Sahoo, blind in one eye and has only 60% vision in the other eye, secured the first position in the country in the OBC non-creamy layer with disability category in the IIT JEE Advance examination. His father is a primary teacher in a government school and hardly earns 54,000 a year and has to look after a family of four members. Despite of all odds this boy has secured his dreams and prefers IIT Bhubaneshwar as it is closer to his home.
Due to his visual impairment he has to use a magnifying glass to study.
