Karthika Premchandran, an eight-year old student of the corporation school in Taramani, may be on her way to become a maths whiz. She is among the very few students of the corporation schools who can boast of securing an international rank in the first round of the International Math Olympiad which had been recently conducted. She credits her success to her maths teacher.
