HSC students who did not opt for mathematics in their 10+2 level can now avail engineering and technology courses in polytechnic institutes in Maharashtra. The State Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) have decided to give such students direct admissions through “lateral entry” to the second year of post-SSC diploma courses.
