G.P. Birla Educational Foundation offers their Merit Scholarships 2016, i.e the G.P. Birla Merit-cum-Means Scholarships for excellent and bright students. The scholarship eligibility for the students are mentioned below.
Eligibilty:
Students, male or female, from West Bengal, who have in the year 2016, passed class XII exam and have secured marks of 80% or more from State Board or 85% or more from Central Board or have secured rank in top 15000 in AIEEE/JEE/AIPMT Tests and need financial help to pursue further studies in any stream including Science, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Commerce, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary Course in any Recognized university in India may apply.
Amount of Scholarship:
Scholarship amount will be to cover Tuition Fees and Hostel Fees {wherever applicable} up to 50000 Rs. Per student Per year. Extra 7000 Rs will be provided towards purchase of books in the first year.
